Bill Gates wrote an article in 1996 that Content is King & I agree! Now, let’s add to it.  If Content is King, then Enthusiasm is Queen.

Remain enthusiastic, create content, and you will sell yourself.

Your designs/code won’t sell! I promise they cannot sell themselves. Your enthusiasm does all the talking,  whether it’s to your boss or your freelance client :-)

Just completed the design of a Popup for a Houston, Texas based E-Commerce.  Developing the website was an extremely fun opportunity, but now fine tuning the website is even more fulfilling
It’s always fun to rough draft a Popup design on paper with a Sharpie, make a couple iterations in Illustrator, & then execute the design with some help from HTML :-)

In this video, I cover the use of CDNs and caching thru htaccess code.  Both allow developers & designers to provide websites that load quickly across all browsers & platforms. The CDN I currently use is Cloudflare.com which not only provides a great service, but additional web services as well.  Check it out!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at info@micahryan.com or leave a comment below.

Thanks again

htaccess code:

ExpiresByType image/jpeg “access plus 1 month”

n this video, I cover how to begin branding yourself as a Website & UI Designer and using bootstrap components which can be found at http://getbootstrap.com

I also show a design that I am beginning to work on as a mockup. This mockup is being developed to improve my skills and to better understand any design & development roadblocks I may run into while creating for future clients using my current software

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

P.S. Definitely enjoying creating these videos!  It’s fun applying the knowledge & explaining :-)

In this video, I create a Multi Page PDF of my Resume with Adobe Illustrator CC.  I use this Multi Page PDF as a means to showcase my design knowledge, skills, & style & I send it to potential jobs or employers.

Hopefully this video is hopefully & if you have any questions feel free to contact me

Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel for updates on tutorials and to watch as I progress as a Website Designer
